strong pressure central location
the room was newly refurbished. i found the water pressure in the shower to be notably strong. the location is central providing great access to nearby amenities.
I found the toilet paper provision to be somewhat limited. only the roll on the dispenser was available. There was no spare roll provided.

convenient stay
bay view helpful staff central location breakfast choice
the staff were helpful. the room had a bay view. the location was close to the centre. breakfast offered much choice. the room was also upgraded for my parents, irene and colin. ramona at reception was so pleasant. she also helped my mum after she fell.
the shower didn't drain properly. this meant showers had to be short to prevent flooding. i also think the shower drain needs cleaning.

Breakfast had a wide selection and the quality seemed good. there were plenty of options available. This made the mornings simple, with something for everyone.

the hotel is near the north pier and provides easy access to the waverley, so travel was very simple. many restaurants, shops, and local attractions are also within walking distance.

the room included amenities for tea, though tea bags were missing initially. the hotel gave me a room upgrade. that was very helpful, and we really enjoyed that space.

receptionist ramona was helpful and were pretty good . the staff responded quickly to our requests! they ensured a smooth experience for my parents .

cramped room rushed refurbishment
The staff seemed nice enough. That's something I guess
My allocated "Petite Cozy Double Room" was hardly what I'd call cozy. Cramped is more accurate. The refurbishment looked like a rushed job as paint was on the windows and sealing needed some attention. Breakfast was greasy too so I skipped it the next day

delayed chair substandard breakfast
I requested an extra chair for the room so i could sit by the window. It took over two hours. by then it was dark. the request seemed to confuse the staff. breakfast was also disappointing. Many items were gone, and others were burnt.
